Pusha-T Drops Scathing Diss Record, “The Story of Adidon” aimed at Drake
Virginia’s own Pusha-T has released a diss track for the ages. Aimed at longtime adversary Drake, the record is a systematic lyrical teardown of the Toronto rapper, over Jay-Z’s “The Story of OJ.” The track isn’t unprovoked, as Drake chose to release the first blow in this new round, “Duppy Freestyle,” on the same day that Pusha-T released his much-lauded album, DAYTONA.
Pusha-T’s lyrical gymnastics are undeniably Olympics caliber, gold medal-level, on “The Life of Adidon.” It’s a track that you’ll run through a few times, as you dissect the vicious jabs and character-questioning haymakers Pusha-T hurls at the “6 God.”
There’s a lot to unpack with this one, and it all begins with Pusha-T’s choice of artwork for his lyrical assault on OVO’s captain, Drake, which he has confirmed is not photoshop or doctored in any way.
Please stop referring to this picture as “artwork”…I’m not an internet baby, I don’t edit images…this is a REAL picture…these are his truths, see for yourself https://t.co/gd6vRS3HM8 pic.twitter.com/2el58HEZ8F
